Vibrator Hose
Copper State Rubber Vibrator Hose
A vibrator hose connects the mud pump to the rigid standpipe, routing drilling fluid through the pulsation dampener and isolating the vibration generated by the mud pump's reciprocating motion before fluid travels up the derrick to the rotary hose and swivel. Because it sits at the start of the circulation system, a failure here disrupts pressure delivery before fluid ever reaches the standpipe.
Why Pressure Rating and Certification Matter
Not every vibrator hose is built for the same conditions. Two factors separate a reliable hose from a liability: working pressure and certification.
Working pressure determines what the hose can safely handle before failure becomes a risk. Certification confirms the hose was built and tested to a recognized standard, not just a manufacturer's internal claim.
API 7K is the standard that applies to vibrator and rotary drilling hose alike, and it is the certification operators and drilling contractors look for when qualifying a supplier.
Built for Continuous Flexing
Copper State Rubber's Vibrator Hose is built on the same API 7K licensed (Certificate No. 7K-0014) construction CSR uses across its rotary and vibrator hose line, qualified to FSL1 and FSL2, and shipping standard as FSL2, Temperature Range 3. It is rated up to 7,500 PSI working pressure and tested to 11,250 PSI.
Positioned between the mud pump and the standpipe, the hose absorbs continuous mechanical flexing from the pump's reciprocating motion on top of standard pressure containment, which is why the same spiral wire reinforcement and flexible liner construction CSR uses for rotary service carries over directly to vibrator applications. The hose also carries ABS and DNV Type Approval across its full pressure range
Manufactured in the USA
Copper State Rubber manufactures its Vibrator Hose in the United States, at its Avondale, Arizona facility. Manufacturing domestically means CSR controls every stage of production and can move a custom order faster than a supplier sourcing from overseas. For an operator facing downtime, that difference in lead time can matter even more than price.

A vibrator hose sits between the mud pump and the standpipe, isolating vibration from the pump's reciprocating motion. A rotary drilling hose sits between the standpipe and the top drive or swivel, delivering fluid into the rotating drill string. Both are built on the same API 7K licensed construction.
