Copper State Rubber has manufactured choke and kill hose for more than 50 years. Standard configurations typically ship in 3 to 5 weeks. The hose is used during well control operations when formation pressures exceed the hydrostatic pressure of the drilling fluid, allowing operators to safely circulate kill mud and regain control of the well. Hose failure during a well control event can result in loss of well control, environmental release, equipment damage, downtime, and personnel safety hazards.

It is rated for 5,000 and 10,000 PSI working pressure, available in 2 inch, 2.5 inch, and 3 inch inside diameters, and built for offshore and onshore drilling operations where consistent pressure control is non-negotiable. The hose also carries ABS and DNV Type Approval at these pressure ratings.
